poLyChro®–fond

poLyChro-fond is used to pretreat interior surfaces before they are painted with the original Le Corbusier interior paint „poLyChro-intérieur“.

poLyChro-fond is used

  • to equalize possible differences in absorption of mineral and/or organic substrates or sound old coatings and,
  • to solidify highly absorbent, chalking or sanding substrates.

Priming with poLyChro-fond optimizes the surface homogeneity of coatings. This applies especially for difficult light conditions like glancing light.

Substrate preparation
The substrate must be dry, clean and free of grease.

Application
Apply poLyChro-fond undiluted by brush. Spray application is also possible. Shiny spots by excess material should be always avoided. A second application wet-in-wet may be required on highly absorbing substrates.

Note
poLyChro-fond cannot be used as dilution for poLyChro-intérieur.

Drying times
A drying time of at least 6 hours is required between priming and coating.

Consumption
Depending on the substrate absorbency approx. 0.1 – 0.2l/m².

Cleaning of tools
Clean with water immediately after use.
